Perfect Family Getaway!The Lodge was an absolute perfect fit for our large family of 8 adults and 6 kids (ages 5 to 14). The location was fantastic, and the spacious yard with its cozy fire pit was a huge hit. Inside, the expansive kitchen made cooking for a large group effortless, and the game area kept everyone entertained. We had the pleasure of hosting a family event at Jeff and Dan's lodge and wow was it amazing! What a unique, cool venue with room for the entire extended family. Peaceful setting and close to multiple beaches, lakes, and fun spots to check out. The lodge was kept amazingly well and is an absolute treasure. The layout of the lodge is really cool, there is room for everyone to hang out and relax. The large industrial kitchen was really fun to cook in and has a near unlimited amount of supplies. We had the pleasure of meeting Dan and it was really nice that he stopped by to make sure everything was going okay. Pine Lake Lodge was perfect for our extended family reunion over Memorial Day weekend! It was spacious and homey, with comfortable bedrooms. The commercial kitchen had plenty of cookware and utensils for us to prep our own meals, and the kitchenette was cute and well-stocked with mugs for morning coffee. Despite the rain and cooler weather during our stay, we still got to use the grill, make smores over the fire pit, and play basketball and volleyball (net and hoop already set up). Inside the lodge, we thoroughly enjoyed playing pool and darts, and also Just Dance on the common room TV. The Lodge is also situated in a great area for scenic hikes; we fit in two to the Kane Mountain Fire Tower and Nine Corner Lake!Dan and Jeff were friendly and responsive to our questions, and Dan actively addressed a minor problem on site. We stayed at Jeff and Dans place for our conjoined Bach party. It was SO much fun. The outdoor space has a lot of room to play games with friends and family and the indoor space is huge and amazing. We celebrated a family birthday at the Pine Lake Lodge this weekend. It was perfect for our group! The layout downstairs is perfect for a party where small groups can be playing pool, darts or cards/games at various tables and bars, lounging in the huge living room area with seating for 16+ , or at the dining room table and everyone is still fairly connected. I loved that our whole group could fit at the table or the living room. We have lots of cooks in our kitchen, so the huge commercial kitchen was perfect for eveyrone to finish off the stuff they brought without being in each other's way. The coffee bar is a great touch. We appreciated the instructions for music--we can never seem to figure that out. Having all the bedrooms on the second floor is nice. Having grown up in the area, we knew the space and location well. The changes Jeff & Dan to make it a location for people to host events was perfect. The lodge allowed us to safely enjoy the festivities of a nearby wedding. We then were able to continue as a family to reconnect and have a fabulous time together. We enjoyed the nearby lakes and restaurants. There were stars at night and even a neighborhood deer to have coffee with in the morning. What a wonderful stay we had at The Pine Lake Lodge! Our family of three generations had so much fun and made some wonderful memories! Preparing meals in the awesome kitchen, sharing them together at the long dining table, playing games in the game room along with all the outdoor games, and of course enjoying the beautiful bar! We recently spent 4 nights at the Pine Lake Lodge. We occupied all of the bedrooms. The space itself is awesome. We had 3 family's in the lodge, so having room to spread out and give each other privacy was great. The pool, darts, enclosed porch, and bar were used a lot. We had a fairly large family gathering at Pine lake Lodge and it accommodated us wonderfully. The commercial kitchen was a pleasure to cook in - we had a team cooking competition which was a blast. Pine lake is beautiful but one of the days we stayed there we could not access the private beach -no lifeguard so the beach was closed. We were there in early June, I suspect July and August may be different. There is a per person fee. The hike to Nine Corners Lake was lovely! 2nd year in a row we booked for a long Memorial Day weekend, and once again this place did not disappoint. Due to the weather we were stuck mainly in doors which really wasn’t an issue considering we had our own bar! The only thing that would have mad the weekend better is if the Knicks took both games. The place was just as described. Perfect for our group. The large seating area was nice for cocktails and gathering. The kitchen was perfect for food prep. The gas grill was great!. We loved the large fit pit in the back to sit by and enjoy each others company. We did experience some rain. It didnt matter, we went inside and enjoyed the pool table, darts and played games. Jeff and Dan’s place was absolutely fantastic and perfect for our large family gathering. The spacious and beautiful property provided everything we needed for a great stay during the holidays. One of the highlights was the beautiful hiking trail just a short walk away, which we took advantage of every day. During our visit, it snowed, and Jeff and Dan were incredibly attentive, ensuring the entire lot was promptly plowed. Dan was also very responsive and quick to answer any questions we had, which made our stay even more enjoyable.We spent a lot of time cooking, and the industrial kitchen was a dream for preparing meals. Although, it was especially cold during our stay and the kitchen area lacked direct heat, the space heater we used helped make it comfortable enough to continue cooking without issue.Overall, we absolutely loved the space, the convenience, and the hospitality, and we hope to return to Pine Lodge in the future. Fantastic spot for a family gathering. Lots of bedrooms & bathrooms, comfortable living room & dining room, and the large commercial kitchen was great for meal prep. Kids loved the outdoor space and game room (so did the adults). There are nice hiking trails within walking distance from the house. The place was wonderful, roomy and perfect for our group of 20 staying overnight and 5 guests who just came for a day visit. Dan and Jeff were very accommodating and responsive. We had a minor problem with one toilet and someone came to fix it the next day. A couple of suggestions that could improve the place - an easily accessible first aid kit and grab bars in the showers. The only problem we encountered was trying to cook a 24 lb turkey in the smallish oven space. But we worked around it and had a fabulous time. The Pine Lake Lodge was perfect for our group. There is plenty of space to gather, from the bar area (where we spent most of our time), to the game room, dining room, living room and outdoors. The large commercial kitchen was easy to use and offered lots of space for everything. Upstairs contains all of the bedrooms, many with a bathroom.Outside, the large backyard has lawn games, a fire pit and a bar. Across the street, Pine Lake has beach/lake access and a mini golf course. We stayed for the weekend for my son’s wedding that was being held across the road at Pine Lake banquet hall. We had enough space for the whole wedding party and the additional guests that would stop by and makeup/hair people. The space was absolutely perfect for our event and we are so thankful this was available. The building is older, but was clean and spacious. One of the upstairs bathrooms struggled at times with water in the shower and the toilet flushing. A guest mentioned two of the beds were a little too firm. But others loved their rooms and slept great. I wouldn’t let either of these stop you from booking the place, we are already thinking of coming back for a vacation or maybe a holiday family gathering! The Pine Lake Lodge was EXACTLY what my group was looking for. The space held 10 guests with plenty of room. The spacious backyard was perfect for enjoying the Summer weather, and the indoor space was great for holding us over when the rain came. Jeff and Dan couldn't have been better hosts. Their communication was fantastic and they were more than willing to go above and beyond to ensure our stay was exactly what we were looking for. Pine Lake Lodge is the perfect place for family gatherings. It's large and made for entertainment. Whether you're outside enjoying a game of volleyball or frisbee, horseshoes or corn hole, there's something for everyone. Our family had some intense volleyball competition that will be remembered forever, or at least until the muscle pain goes away!The kitchen is fantastic for serving up the meals we cooked. I originally had visions of sharing cooking duties with other family members, but in the end, most of us just enjoyed being together and cooking with each other sharing cooking tips and of course sipping wine and laughing. My niece Brandy cooked the most amazing Chicken Riggie's!Other things we really enjoyed, were the hike up to Nine Corner Lake, a pristine lake at the top of the trail and golfing at the very close by Nick Stoner's Golf course.My compliments to the hosts, we met Jeff in the beginning and Dan at the end. Pine Lake Lodge exceeded our expectations for our summer vacation with our family of 13! There was plenty of space to spread out or gather for meals and family time. The large commercial kitchen was perfect for cooking, the massive TV and living room were great for evening movie nights, and the game room provided great entertainment with many dart and. pool games. Beds were very comfy! The Lodge location was perfect with Pine Lake Beach just a short walk across the street and the beautiful, private Nine Corner Lake less than a mile hike right from the Lodge. We actually hiked and swam there 4 or 5 times during our stay it was so pretty! There are several local stores within 5 miles and several restaurants also. We also loved the outdoor area, playing lots of volleyball and Cornhole. I highly recommend the pontoon boat tour Dan, our host, offers of Caroga Lake! Super fun! Our entire family enjoyed our time at the Pine Lake Lodge. It’s hard to find a nice place for a large group and the lodge fit the bill! Lots of bedrooms and bathrooms, plenty of space to spread out or be together and a commercial kitchen that had everything one needed and then some. The atmosphere is casual and comfortable. We played darts, pool and lots of our favorite card game - pitch! We went swimming, walking, hiking, fishing, golfing and visited a few local “hotspots”. We only had one or two minor issues and Dan, one of the owners, was quick to take care of them. He was extremely friendly and easily available. As mentioned in other reviews it does get a little warm on those hot days but there were lots of fans which made it more than tolerable. The lodge and area has a lot to offer and kept us all busy. I cannot say enough good things about Dan, Jeff, and their property!! First, the property: The Lodge easily accommodated our group of 15 gathered for our annual family vacation. It was clean & comfortable. The common spaces, kitchen, bar areas, and bedrooms made it easy to be together, or apart, and all under one roof. Which is a great thing with a large group. And with the enormous back yard, one really doesn’t need to leave the property to have a great time.Pine Lake Beach and 9 Corner Lake hiking trail are within easy walking distance. Scenic and safe.Our stay happened to be during one of the hottest weeks of the summer. Fortunately there were lots of fans, which made sleeping bearable. It would have been nice to have AC, but we made due, and didn’t let it affect our fun.Jeff and Dan were amazing hosts, immediately responding to any request or need.
